How we use your data and keep it safe
At Psych Health + Safety, we prioritize the security and confidentiality of your data. We recognize the significance of protecting all personal and confidential information entrusted to us. This Privacy Policy is designed to articulate our approach towards the gathering and utilization of confidential data. This policy is applicable to all facets of Psych Health + Safety’s data collection and usage practices, encompassing client data, data provided by clients, and any personal or confidential information we gather in the course of our operations.
What is private and confidential information
Personal information: Information that is sufficient to identify an individual.
Confidential Information: Information and data that is supplied to us by a client in order to provide the services, or personal information provided to us by an individual in the course of doing business.
Confidential information that we collect and/or retain
Client Information: This includes all client contact and internal information that we have been privy to as a result of our work together.
Client-provided information: In the form of employee information; such as emails for the purposes of administering a survey or information on demographics for the purpose of analysis.
Information collected on behalf of a client: This takes the form of the results of surveys and other data-gathering methods we employ to do our work.
Other personal or confidential information: Anything else of a confidential or private nature obtained in the course of our work as consultants to a client.
How we protect your information
Gathering, storage and access of information: All links to online surveys and forms, including contact forms on the website, are provided through secure and encrypted SSL connections. All servers and devices used to store, backup or access information are password-protected and/or encrypted. Only members of Psych Health + Safety directly involved in a client project have access to that client’s data and are required to abide by the above.
PIPEDA compliance: Our work and procedures comply with The Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
FIPPA compliance: Confidential and personal data is stored exclusively on Canadian servers as per Section 30.1 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act [RSBC 1996] c. 165.
